[Case Study] CASE08: Industrial Equipment Parts Manufacturing Company N

The allowable management concentration of odorless solvent is set at 0.5 ppm! The stop hole components have high cleanliness through vacuum cleaning.

At Company N, we manufacture hydraulic equipment parts through cutting processes and perform assembly before shipping. Previously, we used brominated cleaning agents (1-bromopropane), but due to the very strict allowable management concentration of 0.5 ppm, we were looking for a new cleaning system. We perform cleaning before assembly, but with parts that have blind holes, we were unable to clean thoroughly with brominated solvents, requiring additional cleaning with parts cleaners during assembly. After introducing a hydrocarbon-based cleaning machine, we were able to clean the blind holes effectively, and the productivity of the assembly process improved. [Challenges] ■ Brominated cleaning agents are toxic and difficult to manage. ■ The interiors of blind holes are not being cleaned. ■ Additional cleaning is being done with parts cleaners during assembly. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Presentation of case study collection. Includes "Effects of introducing hydrocarbon cleaning machines and examples of problem-solving."

A must-see for those struggling with cleaning! We present case studies summarizing "quality defect resolution" and "process improvement" in the essential cleaning process of manufacturing.

"Hydrocarbon cleaning" is a cleaning method that is gaining attention. It is a highly safe cleaning system that takes into consideration human health and the environment, while also demonstrating excellent cleaning and drying capabilities. Do you face any of the following challenges in your cleaning process? ▶ Looking for alternatives to chlorine-based (trichloroethylene and methylene chloride) or bromine-based cleaning solvents ▶ Struggling with cleaning issues such as oil residue, stains, and rust, especially with thin parts, blind holes, and fine holes that are difficult to clean ▶ Wanting to reduce the consumption of cleaning agents and running costs (including VOC reduction) ▶ Using a hydrocarbon cleaning machine but experiencing issues with cleaning effectiveness, poor drying, frequent breakdowns or maintenance of the vacuum pump We are offering a collection of case studies (a total of 9 cases) that address the challenges mentioned above, along with helpful columns on cleaning. *You can read the case studies immediately from the [PDF download]. ■ Free cleaning test currently available ■ We can conduct cleaning tests with actual machines. Experience "hydrocarbon cleaning" for yourself! We look forward to your experimental requests. *If you are interested, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Cleaning System Implementation] Cleaning Agent Consumption Reduced by 1/2! Cleaning of Automotive Machined Parts

The idea that "cleaning machines are all pretty much the same" was wrong! We have successfully reduced the amount of cleaning agents used significantly!

Company K manufactures cutting parts for automobiles. They had already purchased and operated a hydrocarbon cleaning machine 15 years ago, but due to increasing malfunctions, they were considering an upgrade. It was decided to stick with a hydrocarbon-based cleaning machine, but there was a desire to introduce something better than the current machine. Thus, they introduced our "CLEANVY." With its unique pump system, solvent consumption was reduced by half, and maintenance costs were eliminated. Additionally, running costs were also halved, successfully reducing manufacturing costs. [Challenges] - They use 600L of cleaning solution per month. - The dry vacuum pump has frequent maintenance and breakdown issues. - The replacement of the heating medium oil occurs every 6 months, which is quite frequent. - Poor drying issues have arisen with new parts. [Results] - Reduced the usage of cleaning solution to 300L per month (half). - Achieved maintenance-free operation with a unique vacuum pump system. - Extended the replacement interval for heating medium oil to about once every 3 years, increasing it fourfold. - High drying performance. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
